(Interim) HR Business Partner (m/f) (Fulltime)

Your team:

You will be part of an international HR team, who supports the business area Market Operations and IT (M), which consists of approx. 650 employees in Europe, South America and Asia. M’s major activities are Trading and Origination and the energy management of our assets.

In your role as HR Business Partner (m/f) you will be mainly responsible for supporting our employees in the Düsseldorf office.

Your role:

  • Consult with line management on annual HR processes (e.g. bonus and salary review, people review, organizational survey)
  • Partner with the business on organisation design and re-design / transformation measures, including the execution of all agreed subsequent actions
  • Co-operation with our works council on all matters of co-determination
  • Recruitment of new employees (from creation of job profile to contract negotiation)
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of human resources issues (including labor law topics)
  • Organization, implementation and evaluation of development initiatives
  • Participation in special projects / global HR projects
  • Close collaboration with HR Service Center and HR colleagues in different geographies
  • Continuous improvement and development of existing HR processes and procedures

Your profile:

  • Relevant university degree with focus in HR
  • Minimum 5 years of profound operative and strategic HR experience from an international company
  • Significant experience in change management and organizational transformation /outsourcing processes
  • Experience in establishing a trustful relationship with the works council and experience in negotiating restructuring measures and agreements with the works council
  • Ability to communicate well on all hierarchical levels and to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Very good knowledge of German labor law  
  • Proactive working style combined with a “hands on” attitude
  • Service-minded with strong communication and consulting skills
  • Fluency in German and English, additional language skills welcome
