Windfarm Technician

Statkraft Energy Ltd is looking to recruit two Wind Farm Technicians primarily based at Baillie Wind Farm near Thurso in Caithness, the appointed individuals will become valued members of a small team in the North of Scotland delivering safe and effective operation and maintenance of our wind farms.

The successful applicants will be Self-motivated team players, who take initiative and will deliver good results according to planning and time constraints; they will have a minimum of 2 years of maintenance & repair experience.

Experience of maintenance & repair of wind turbines and/or HV plant and apparatus, would be an advantage. You must be prepared to work at heights, and be physically capable of fulfilling the role; a full driving license is also required.

Duties will include carrying out the inspection, repair, and maintenance of wind turbine structure and electrical & mechanical components

The successful candidates will also assist in the maintenance and repair of site infrastructure and balance of plant, and be expected to participate in task planning, such as method statement and risk assessment generation.

Flexibility is essential, as on occasion, the successful applicants may be required to work at our sites in other parts of the UK and possibly overseas.
