PV Solar Sales Manager (m/f)

Your role:

You will play a decisive role in a team that has been recently set-up to develop solar business solutions for commercial and industrial clients in the German market and beyond. With your experience in building a successful PV sales business you are expected to play a pivotal role in making Statkraft a strong player in the PV segment in Germany and potentially other markets.

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver on agreed PV solar sales targets
  • Run the full sales process from lead qualification to deal closure:
  1. Prequalify incoming leads and submit first customer pitches
  2. Build customer commitment early-on and ensure a convincing sales experience, by creating awareness and demand for the product and Statkraft’s further customer offerings
  3. Solve the commercial, technical and/or financial objections of the account. Run desk top PV design tool
  4. Define opportunities and develop deals promptly towards deal closure
  5. Liaise with the technical project manager for product delivery
  6. Document all stages of sales process in CRM
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers and ensure high customer satisfaction at all times
  • Develop and implement successful sales strategies for this new business line together with the team
  • Cooperate closely with the marketing colleagues to ensure a high-quality lead generation process
  • Develop new relationships and represent the company's brand and products to customers and other   external stakeholders
  • Develop new business applications in PV and associated energy fields


Your profile:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Science or similar
  • Strong track record with minimum 3 years of experience in PV sales and marketing
  • Strong sales, negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience in other de-central energy fields are an advantage
  • Good representation skills, convincing personality and appearance
  • Relevant network in the European PV Solar segments
  • Enjoy working in a small, dynamic and ambitious team building the new business line
  • High degree of self-initiative and strong problem solving attitude
  • Strong teamwork and cross-cultural skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent in English and German, further language skills are an advantage
