Vendor Compliance Manager

IT is responsible for delivering IT services to all units in Statkraft and has a broad system portfolio consisting of a mix of purchased products and internally developed tools.  IT works closely together with the business units, providing business directed IT strategy, product management, project management, tailored development, operations and infrastructure.

There is a high degree of external vendors involved in the IT deliveries and there is a strategic and growing dependency on vendor competence and capacity.  The implementation of GDPR and increased use of cloud services makes it increasingly important to define requirements and follow up external IT suppliers with regards to compliance. 

Your role will be to establish and manage a compliance regime towards external suppliers within the IT area and to drive procurement processes in a way that safeguards Statkraft interests and motivates the suppliers to give excellent performance to Statkraft.

Your role:

  • Establish and maintain general compliance requirements for IT suppliers
  • Collect and align specific compliance requirements from information owner
  • Ensure and participate in relevant impact assessments
  • Perform supplier market assessment and prequalification
  • Run tender processes and supplier negotiations
  • Secure supplier commitment to compliance requirements
  • Secure relevant supplier controls to be included in the internal control regime
  • Initiate and perform frequent and random supplier audits
  • Evaluate audit reports towards relevant compliance requirements


Your profile:

  • Interested in compliance work and ability to see value beyond the formalities
  • Higher education within Legal, Business administration or IT, or relevant work experience giving      equivalent competence   
  • Experience with GDPR/ISO27001/ICFR or similar compliance regimes is an advantage
  • Ability to work in a multinational company with global reach
  • General understanding of procurement and IT service delivery
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Proactive and solution oriented
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to communicate complex contracts terms in an understandable manner
  • Strong command of the Norwegian and English language
