Procurement Administrator

The procurement administrator role is a central function and will be responsible for performing procurement for both hydropower and onshore wind within the UK. As a Procurement Administrator, you will be part of a motivated team working with complex challenges and large projects. The full time role is based at Cwm Rheidol Power Station, near Aberystwyth.  

 Your Role:

  •  Procurement across all channels of purchasing
  • Initiate business and organisation partnerships with suppliers
  • Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided
  • Ensure compliance with our procedures
  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
  • Assist in controlling, budgeting and reporting when required
  • PR activities
  • General Administrative duties

 Your Profile:

  •  Self-motivated team player
  • The ability to make decisions is essential
  • Flexibility is essential, as on occasion, the successful applicant will be required to travel
  • Ideally you have experience in a similar role, however training will be given
  • Relevant qualification in procurement or finance area would be advantageous
