Working Student (m/f/d) in Treasury

What we do:

The business area Markets & IT (M) has more than 650 employees in Europe, South America and India. Major activities are energy management for Statkraft’s assets, including analysis and long-term price forecasts as well as Trading & Origination in the same geographical areas.

As part of Corporate Treasury, we are responsible for Treasury tasks of Statkraft German Group mainly related to the Business Area Markets & IT (M). This includes liquidity forecast, daily bank account disposition, guarantee business, FX hedging and posting of our cleared exchange trading business.

Your role:

  • Support Treasury team in a variety of tasks
  • Cooperate/perform daily bank account disposition
  • Support posting of cleared exchange trading business
  • Process tasks within our guarantee business
  • Support Treasury team to prepare and improve the monthly liquidity forecast
  • Analyze and document processes including developing suggestions for improvement
  • Manage small projects on your own

Your profile:

  • You are attending a bachelor’s or master’s program in business administration (or similar), preferably with a focus on finance or accounting
  • You have good knowledge of excel, user skills in SAP FI are an advantage
  • You have an analytical mind-set, like working with figures and you have the ambition to develop and learn in an international and complex business environment
  • You speak English and German fluently
  • Your remaining study period should be at least one year, and you should be available for 2 days per week or more
