Accountant (m/f/d)

Your department:

Shared Accounting Services Germany is a subunit of the Accounting department in Norway and part of the CFO organization in Statkraft. The team is responsible for liabilities in Germany, USA, Spain and France. Statkraft is in a growth phase with the goal to expand massively especially in the wind, solar and EV charging area. As part of our team in Düsseldorf, you will support Statkraft in its further expansion in the position of Accountant. 

Your role:

  • Checking, account assignment and posting of incoming invoices in accordance with tax law requirements
  • Reconciliation of accounts and clarification of questions regarding invoices and suppliers
  • Booking and posting business transactions in SAP
  • Execution of Payment Runs
  • Support of verifiers and approvers in the SAP invoice workflow
  • Processing of payment reminders as well as other day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Communication with Procurement and other departments
  • Participation in optimization and digitalization of processes

About you:

  • Completed studies or completed professional education with good results
  • Relevant professional experience with good references
  • Good SAP knowledge (module FI and MM) is an advantage
  • Good IT skills in MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint
  • Independent and thorough way of working
  • Good German and English skills (additional language skills like French, Spanish or Dutch are an advantage)
