Working in IT

From helping to run advanced renewable power plants, developing the technologies that power EV charging infrastructures, to supporting our business solutions and corporate functions. With Statkraft, you’ll be working and collaborating alongside other technology and digital experts to innovate, maintain and provide the world with renewable energy.

As a Vice President of Global Infrastructure Services, you’ll:

  • Manage and develop the IT Infrastructure across Statkraft's international operation in line with the business requirements 
  • Lead the Global Infrastructure department with 70+ employees in multiple countries and locations 
  • Own and develop core operational processes across the IT organization 
  • Plan and execute new service implementations and improvement activities, together with your team.
  •  Develop and deliver on long-term pictures for the infrastructure architecture in Statkraft, based on business requirements and in close co-operation with the customers
  • Build and maintain good relationships with vendors and stakeholders
  • Be accountable for IT governance, risk & compliance within own area of responsibility

Some travelling to Statkraft countries must be expected.

 

About you:

We look for an experienced leader with the essential skills to future-proof our business and solutions. That includes:

  • Higher relevant education at university level
  • Solid experience and competence from the IT infrastructure area, e.g.:
    • Infrastructure and cloud architecture, engineering & operations
    • Process development and management
    • IT Security, incl. governance, risk & compliance
  • Strong DevOps mindset - desire to automate “everything”
  • Innovative and continuously desire to improve both yourself, your team, and your services.
  • Proven leadership and change management track record
  • A teamplayer taking part in developing the IT management team
  • Ability to set and deliver on goals and plans
  • Confident and effective communicator able to work closely with cross-functional teams and collaborate with all members of the organization

Norwegian and English language fluency is a requirement (oral and writing).
